Man, 20, fatally shot in Southeast D.C.

A 20-year-old man has been fatally shot in Southeast Washington, D.C. police said.

Shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday, officers went to the 5300 block of E Street SE and found Jeffrey Ray Tyson outside, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Tyson, of Southeast D.C., was pronounced dead at a hospital, police said.

No suspect or motive information was immediately available.
