Man arrested in fatal July 4 shooting

A Laurel man was arrested Sunday in connection with a fatal shooting at a July 4 celebration, police said.

Calvin Shaw, 22, was arrested on a warrant that charges him with first-degree murder while armed in the death of 19-year-old Crevontai Key, according to D.C. police.

Key was fatally shot at a holiday celebration about 8 p.m. Wednesday in the 5000 block of First Street NW, police said. Three others also were shot in the incident.
