A man who is suspected of dumping a body on a Woodbridge street was arrested Tuesday morning, Prince William County police said.

Douglas Hernandez, 25, of no fixed address, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of 47-year-old Barbaro Lupe Alonso-Iraola, police said.

On Jan. 15, a resident saw Alonso-Iraola's body in front of his home in the 15000 block of Cardin Place and called police. Alonso-Iraola had sustained trauma to his face as a result of a blunt object and a knife, police said.

Authorities suspect that Hernandez and Juan Carlos Flores pulled up to the block in a white van, dumped Alonso-Iraola's body on the road and left the area. Flores and a third man were arrested for their roles in the incident shortly after the slaying.
