PARKVILLE, Md. (AP) — A Baltimore man has been charged in the stabbing death of a security guard during a bar brawl.

Baltimore County police say 25-year-old Haywood Trice is responsible for the death of Tavares Jones during a fight last weekend at Tee Bee's Bar in Parkville.

Trice was arrested and charged on Saturday with first-degree murder and a gun charge. He's being held without bail. Online court records do not indicate that he has an attorney.

Police say Trice was one of several people who joined a brawl that started as a fight between two women. Jones was stabbed multiple times while trying to break up the fight.
