A 31-year-old man has been shot and killed at a Glen Burnie bar, police officials said.

About 5:20 p.m. Sunday, officers went to Dietrich's Tavern in the 7300 block of Furnace Branch Road East and found Sir Keith English Queen Jones in a parking lot outside the establishment. Jones was suffering from gunshot wounds to his body and died from his injuries at a hospital, according to the Anne Arundel County Police Department.

Jones had been a longtime Anne Arundel County resident, but was living in Pennsylvania at the time of the shooting.

Police are still investigating Jones' activities prior to the incident. The shooter was described as a black man in his 30s with a thin build and a dark complexion.

According to media reports, Sunday's incident is the third fatal shooting outside of Dietrich's Tavern in the past few years. Others occurred in 2009 and 2010, and people have been convicted in those cases.
