A man was fatally stabbed in Southeast D.C. Tuesday night, police said, and another man has been arrested.
About 8 p.m. Tuesday, police went to the intersection of 30th Street and Naylor Road SE and found 36-year-old Darnell Maurice Howard suffering from stab wounds. He was taken to a hospital, where he died as a result of his injuries, according to D.C. police.
An investigation led to the arrest of 27-year-old Samuel Nelson of Southwest D.C. He was charged with second-degree murder while armed in connection with Howard's death.
