A Centreville man was killed in a fiery crash in Fairfax County, county police officials said.

About 1:45 a.m. Monday, a 2007 Chevy Avalanche pick-up truck struck the rear of a tractor trailer that was stopped at a red light on Route 28 on the Interstate 66 overpass. The pick-up truck then erupted into flames, officials said.

The pick-up truck's driver, 27-year-old George Tabash, died at the scene. The tractor trailer's driver, a 44-year-old Pennsylvania man, was not injured.

Detectives are continuing to investigate the crash and have not yet determined whether speed and alcohol were factors.
