Man killed in southeastern D.C.

Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one man dead in southeastern D.C.

At around 2:14 a.m. on Sunday, police said they found an adult male, identified as 22-year-old Andre Jackson, who had been shot multiple times on the 300 block of Ridge Road SE. The man was unconscious and not breathing when police arrived, officials said.

Police said they received a call about a possible shooting in the area, and were responding to that tip when they found Jackson.

No additional information on the suspect has been released at this time.
