A man died on Saturday after being shot outside a nightclub in the 2700 block of Georgia Avenue NW.
District police said they responded to a shooting at about 2:28 a.m. Saturday and found 44-year-old Tracy McFadden, of the District, suffering from a gunshot wound.
He was transported to a local hospital and died shortly thereafter, police said.
The area is close to the U Street corridor, which is a popular spot at night. Police said they have no suspects at this time.
