A man was fatally shot in Lanham on Wednesday afternoon, Prince George's County police said.
Shortly after 3 p.m., police went to the 10100 block of Old Franklin Avenue and found the victim suffering from a gunshot wound. He was taken to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Police believe that the shooting was not a random act of violence.
