Man sought in string of burglaries in NW D.C's Borderstan neighborhood

D.C. police are searching for person they believe is responsible for multiple burglaries in the Northwest.

Police say residents of the Borderstan area have reported at least four burglaries spanning mid-January to Friday morning.

Police were called to 1700 block of P Street NW at about 6:45 a.m. on Friday where someone had forced entry into the home and stolen electronics.

The first burglary occurred on January 17th in the 1800 block of S Street NW and police believe all four are related.

Entry was gained to all four homes by pushing out the air conditioning unit of one of the windows. Each home had electronics taken from it.

The suspect in Friday's burglary is described as a black man with medium complextion and a thin build, about 5 foot 9 inches and 169 pounds. He was wearing a spotted black and white jacket.
