Two D.C. Council candidates claimed two relatively minor endorsements Thursday.

Patrick Mara, who has already received the D.C. Chamber of Commerce's endorsement, picked up the D.C. Realtors Association for the at-large April 23 special election.

Councilwoman Anita Bonds sent out an email blast announcing that the Rev. Joyce Scott, a Ward 8 community leader, endorsed her campaign. Scott is pastor at Inspired by God Fellowship Ministry. In May 2011, Scott led about 200 people on a protest against street violence.

Both announcements come one day after former D.C. Mayor Sharon Pratt endorsed Bonds, who has also received nods from Council members Marion Barry and Muriel Bowser.
