ANNAPOLIS -- Smoking in a vehicle with a child under the age of 8 would be prohibited under a bill passed by the Maryland Senate on Wednesday. The measure would fine a driver or passenger in a vehicle with a child up to $50 if he or she is found to be smoking tobacco in the vehicle.
