Prince George's County police have arrested a man in the shooting death of a man found in front of a firehouse in Capitol Heights.

Sean Prince Hallowell, of Forestville, was charged with first-degree murder in the slaying of 27-year-old Charles Robert Thompson. Hallowell, 25, was being held Wednesday without bond.

Police said Hallowell shot Thompson in the 2500 block of Timbercrest Drive in Forestville and then drove Thompson to a firehouse in the 1400 block of Ritchie Marlboro Road and fled.

Thompson was found outside the firehouse shortly after midnight Friday and was taken to a hospital where he died.
