Police have identified a woman who was killed after her minivan hit an ambulance and flipped over in Southeast Washington.

Christina Latrice King, 31, of Waldorf, rear-ended a Honda Accord before she struck an ambulance on 1200 block of Southern Avenue SE, according to police. Her vehicle flipped onto its roof and caught fire. King was found inside the van and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force of her crash caused the ambulance to rear-end a Toytoa Pruis, which struck a Chevrolet Avalanche in front of it.

Five other people were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
