A former Hagerstown man and youth soccer coach was sentenced to 25 years in prison for producing child pornography.

Forty-five-year-old Roger Allen Repp III admitted in federal court to secretly taking pictures of a girl by placing a hidden camera inside the girl's bedroom and bathroom.

He then distributed the pictures of the girl, who was under the age of 16, to pedophiles over the internet in return for child pornography, prosecutors said.

Repp's actions were discovered in March 2011 during an undercover investigation of file sharing activities on the internet.

Authorities searched his home and found numerous files of child pornography, including 125 video files of the young victim surreptitiously filmed by Repp, prosecutors said. A forensics search of the video equipment revealed instances on the video in which Repp's face could be seen as he positioned the hidden camera.

At the time of his arrest in April 2011, Repp was a coach with Locomotive FC, a Washington County soccer club.
