On CBS this morning, Senator John McCain continued to criticize UN Ambassador Susan Rice for her response to the terrorist attacks in Benghazi, suggesting that she was “not very bright.”

McCain again called for a Congressional committee to investigate the Benghazi attack and the Obama administration’s response, particularly the comments made by Rice.

“If this select committee clears her of any wrongdoing, besides not being very bright, because it was obvious that this was not a ‘flash mob,’” McCain said,

McCain insisted that even the “casual observer” knew that the attack was not a result of the demonstration in Cairo.

“If you’re going tell the American people something, make damn sure it’s true,” McCain added.
