A $6,000 reward is being offered for information that leads to the person or persons responsible for the slaying of a 41-year-old Lusby woman nearly two years ago.

The body of Sandra Long was found about 2:30 p.m. Nov. 30, 2010 in the front seat of her silver 2009 Ford Focus. The car was parked in the hunters' parking area of Calvert Cliffs State Park at the intersection of Camp Canoy Road and H.G. Trueman Road in Lusby. She died of blunt force trauma, and her death has been ruled a homicide.

Maryland State Police believe her vehicle may have been moved to the lot after she was killed. Investigators are asking for information about suspicious vehicles and people at the Calvert Cliffs State Park area between 7 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. that day.

Anyone with information is asked to call Maryland State Police Sgt. David Sexton at (410) 977-1519 or Calvert County Crime Solvers at (410) 535-2880.
