Metro's rail ridership stayed relatively steady in the past fiscal year, while bus ridership soared nearly 6 percent, according to agency figures. Metrorail registered 218.2 million trips in the year that ended June 30, about 1.2 million, or 0.6 percent, more than the prior year.
