A Metro worker caught on camera checking his cell phone while operating a train is no longer employed by the agency, Metro said Friday.

The blog Unsuck DC Metro posted the photo Friday. Metro responded via Twitter, saying officials had identified the man in the photo, and that he was no longer a Metro employee as of March 27.

"Metro has a zero-tolerance policy on the use of electronic devices by train operators that calls for termination on the first offense," the agency tweeted.
