Speaking at a campaign rally in Davie, Florida this afternoon, First Lady Michelle Obama explained to voters that she voted for her husband after taking an “objective look” at his record.

“Look, I voted early last week by mail.  I did it.  And if you were curious, I voted for Barack Obama,” she revealed, as the crowd applauded. “Yes, I did.  There was no hesitation.”

She added, “I read his record, I took an objective look, and I said, this is the only one who can move this country forward — Barack Obama.  Seems pretty clear to me.”

The First Lady encouraged her supporters to vote early to “get it out of the way.”

“So if you wake up on Election Day and you’re sick, the car broke down, there’s no babysitter, somebody is throwing up, wake up with an ear infection — this is that time of year,” she explained.  “Your kids wake up, it’s like, oh Lord, your ear hurts? — just take an Anacin, Just get to school, whatever you do.  We mothers understand that.”
