During a White House Christmas event today, First Lady Michelle Obama asked a group of children what they wanted for Christmas.

When one of the girls said that they wanted a phone for Christmas, the First Lady explained that her 11-year-old daughter Sasha wanted a phone too but added that “she can’t have a phone yet.”

“You know what? There’s time to have a phone,” Michelle Obama said. “And then once you get a phone, you don’t want a phone; you don’t really want everyone calling you.”

Other children at the event said that they wanted a Wii-U, an iPod, boots, and high heeled shoes.
