The first lady didn't win a Grammy on Sunday night, but she might have brought luck to two others.

Michelle Obama told People last week that her picks for the music awards were Kelly Clarkson and Frank Ocean. Both artists walked away with trophies.

Obama, who tweeted that she planned to watch the ceremony, also congratulated Janis Ian on the songwriter's win in the spoken word category. Ian beat Obama and former President Clinton.
