Michigan Democrats chanted “Shame on you” and “Re-Vote” after the Michigan House of Representatives passed the Right-to-Work legislation. The House approved the bill with a vote of 58-51.

Minority leader Kate Segal made a motion to have the legislation reconsidered on the “next legislation day.”

The chair informed her that her motion was “inappropriate” as the bill had already been enrolled.

“There is no way that that bill left this chamber with an entire gallery full of people and every clerk sitting here,” she fired back. “You have got to follow the rules in this chamber at some point during this two year session!”

The chair ignored her request, as some of the House Democrats began shouting, “Shame on you!”
