Michigan State law school holds Dubai conference


EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — The Michigan State University law school is holding a conference on innovation and technology this week in the Middle East.

The College of Law says Monday's conference includes legal professionals, students, entrepreneurs, scholars and technology experts.

It's called ReInvent Law Dubai and is being held Monday at the DIFC Centre for Excellence in Dubai, part of the Persian Gulf nation the United Arab Emirates.

The university says those at the conference "will examine a variety of issues related to the future of law, technology, innovation and entrepreneurship."

The keynote speaker is Hala Fadel of the MIT Enterprise Forum Arab Startup Competition.
