MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — "Profile of a Killer," a Minnesota-made movie about the hunt for a serial killer, returns to the Twin Cities this weekend.
The movie opens Friday in Oakdale and Hastings in Minnesota and Hudson, Wis. The movie recently played in Bemidji (behm-ID'-jee) and is running for another week in Owatonna (oh-wuh-TAHN'-uh).
Writer-director Caspian Tredwell-Owen worked for such studios as DreamWorks and Paramount, but he decided to shoot the movie in Minnesota. Filming took place over two winters at abandoned farmhouses and the Mississippi River near Hastings.
"Profile of a Killer" tells the story of a teenage serial killer and the FBI profiler called out of retirement to help find him.
The movie was released March 14.
