BILOXI, Miss. (AP) — Biloxi is losing its Southern Professional Hockey League Team.
WLOX TV reports (http://bit.ly/1mmNcNC) that the Mississippi Surge announced Friday it is indefinitely suspending operations after five years on the Gulf Coast.
Surge Owner Tim Kerr said the decision to suspend operations could be reversed some day, but a steep decline in revenue forced their hand right now.
