Montgomery County police have released surveillance video in connection with a series of thefts and acts of vandalism, and they are asking the public to help identify the suspects.

Police said three male suspects stole a vehicle, bicycles and valuables from unlocked vehicles, as well as destroying mailboxes in the Plantations II neighborhood in the Damascus area Saturday night.

The victim of the stolen vehicle had left the garage door open and the keys to the vehicle on a table in the garage. The owner found the stolen vehicle abandoned at the intersection of Rolling Fork Way and Peanut Mill Drive. It had a flat tire, scrapes, missing headlights, and damage to the bumper. Inside were three stolen bicycles.

At least eight mailboxes in the neighborhood appeared to have been struck by the stolen vehicle.
