Montgomery County police seek armed robbery suspect

Montgomery County police are looking for a man who robbed a Rockville convenience store.

The incident occurred at about 1:15 a.m. Tuesday at the Food Express at 16254 Frederick Road. A man walked into the store, approached the clerk and announced a robbery while displaying a black, semi-automatic handgun. The clerk gave the man cash from the register, and the robber fled, police said.

The robber is described as a Hispanic man in his mid-20s, 5 feet 7 inches to 5 feet 8 inches tall and about 180 to 200 pounds. He was wearing a blue coat, dark jeans, black and white sneakers and a Los Angeles Dodgers baseball hat.
