Without ever being seen on screen, actor Morgan Freeman pronounced his support for gay marriage by narrating a new advertisement for the D.C.-based gay rights group, the Human Rights Campaign. On Sunday, the video was emailed out to supporters and released online with Human Rights Campaign president Chad Griffin saying that the 40-second spot gave him chills. The video includes footage of Martin Luther King Jr. and then fast forwards to present day, showing off a handful of gay couples. "Now, across our country we are standing together for the right of gay and lesbian Americans to marry the person they love," Freeman says in the ad. "And with historic victories for marriage we've delivered a mandate for full equality."
