Tea Party candidates were unable to mount many upsets this election season and last night may have been one of the final chances for those candidates. In Kansas, Sen. Pat Roberts, R-Ka., held off Tea Party-backed challenger Milton Wolf to win the state's primary. In Michigan, Rep. Kerry Bentivolio, R-Mi., lost to the establishment's pick, David Trott. Rep. Justin Amash, R-Mi., did prevail in his congressional primary.

A new poll out of Pennsylvania shows Gov. Tom Corbett, R-Pa., gaining ground on Democratic challenger Tom Wolf. The poll, released this week, shows Corbett down 12 points to Wolf. Following the Democratic primary earlier this year, Wolf opened up a 20-plus point lead on the incumbent, but two recent polls have shown the governor within 12 and 9 points.

President Obama today will again participate in the US-Africa Leaders Summit at the White House. The three-day event wraps up today and Obama is expected to participate in multiple events that will run all day long.
