A new poll out of Michigan shows incumbent Republican Gov. Rick Snyder tied with Democratic challenger Mark Schauer. The poll, released by Democratic-leaning Public Policy Polling, shows the two men with 40 percent of the vote. Snyder's job approval hangs in the high 30s, despite a bump he received for his handling of Detroit's financial situation.

Democrat Allison Lundergan Grimes will embark on a two-day bus tour starting today across Eastern Kentucky. Grimes is set to deliver remarks on the economy and her plans to stregthen the middle class. Grimes is challenging Republican Sen. Mitch McConnell in November.

Net neutrality made headlines yesterday when Vermont Democratic Sen. Patrick Leahy proposed an online Bill of Rights to level the playing field. The FCC has openly backed a two-tiered Internet system where cable companies like Verizon and Comcast could charge tech companies like Amazon more for faster speeds.
