House Republicans are set to select new members to their leadership team today following Congressman Eric Cantor's, R-Va., surprising primary defeat earlier this month. Current House Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy, R-Calif., all but has the nomination for majority leader locked up, but the real battle will happen for majority whip.

The Faith and Freedom Coalition will hold a major policy gathering today in Washington, D.C., to discuss moving the conservative movement forward. Speakers for today's event include Senator Mike Lee, R-Utah, and Ted Cruz, R-Texas, as well as Cantor. The event will go through Saturday.

All of that, plus President Obama's Medal of Honor ceremony in today's Morning Examiner.
