When two screen legends team up, the results are usually incredible and that was the case in "Heat." In 1995, Al Pacino and Robert DeNiro starred in this cat and mouse action thriller about a team of criminals looking for that final score but accidentally tip the cops off prior to the heist. One of the key scenes in the film is about halfway through when the two leads sit down at an diner and essentially taunt each other. As improbable as it sounds for a criminal to sit down for coffee with the man hunting him...this like a few other parts of the movie actually happened. DeNiro played Neil McCauley, an real career criminal who had some sort of admiration for the man charged with bringing him down and the two did have a casual sit down in a very public setting to rehash how they both got to this point in their lives. Each also reminded the other though that despite this "time-out," neither would hesitate to put a bullet in the other should the situation arise...which ultimately it eventually did.
