Last night on MSNBC, Comedian D.L. Hughley explained that he thought Chick-fil-A Appreciation Day was “hilarious.”

“[L]ike americans need an excuse to eat fast food,” he added. “You’ll never see a Broccoli Appreciation Day.”

“The great thing for me is that I hope conservatives eat Chick-fil-A every day and they’ll appreciate the Obamacare program,” he joked.

Hughley explained that he was in a “quandary” because he loved fried chicken but hated Chick-fil-A’s stance on gay marriage.

“My compromise is I’ll have the chicken but not the bun.” he joked. “Or eat at Popeye’s maybe.”
