Music to greet Thanksgiving travelers in Chicago

CHICAGO (AP) — Crowds moving through Chicago's two airports will have a soundtrack to accompany their Thanksgiving journey.

Blues, jazz, R&B and Celtic artists will perform at O'Hare International and Midway International airports on Wednesday.

The Chicago Department of Aviation says it expects 1.8 million passengers to move through the two airports in the week between Nov. 20 and 27. Sunday is expected to be the busiest day, when O'Hare alone could see more than a quarter million travelers.

Besides the music, travelers at Midway will be treated to complimentary hot cocoa on Wednesday and Sunday evenings.

The musical performances will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday at all terminals of both airports.
