The Washington National Cathedral's central tower has been closed since last summer's earthquake. But it will open again for the first time Saturday for the cathedral's traditional "tower climb." The tower has been deemed structurally sound and safe for visitors to make the 333-step climb to its height -- an estimated 45-minute endeavor. The cathedral needs an expected $20 million to repair cracks and chipping sustained in the 5.8-magnitude quake. Approximately $2 million has been raised. - Courtney Zott
