This Friday, National Geographic will air "Live From Space", a two-hour live broadcast of astronauts at the International Space Station doing astronaut-y things. Rather than catching our spacemen at a pivotal moment, the program is aimed at showing a slice of life in space, with the featured astronauts scheduled to engage in mundane activities such as exercise and… well… using space toilets. In other words, it’s less a moon-landing-like look at flag-planting explorers, and more a preview of what life in space could be like for all of us some day.
