Saturday's planned national Gun Control March on Washington is expected to draw just 3,200, not even one day's attendance at the recent gun show in suburban Chantilly, Virginia.

According to the website for the March On Washington For Gun Control, just 3,162 marchers are confirmed, a tiny number compared to the two huge events that hit Washington this week, the 1 million strong Inauguration and Friday's March for Life that was expected to draw hundreds of thousands.

The website said:

A LITTLE OVER 36 HOURS until we March on Washington for Gun Control.

We are happy to announce that the Alliance for Global Justice will be acting as our fiscal agent. As they are a registered non-profit 501(c)3, all donations are now tax-deductible. Many, many thanks to AGJ for assisting the cause of sensible gun legislation.

The march takes place at 10 a.m. Marchers are expected to walk in silence. They will be joined by Newtown, Conn. families, district officials and activists such as actress Kathleen Turner.

Just last month in Chantilly, thousands attended the Nation's Gun Show, with over 5,000 on the first day.
