Terry McAuliffe is running unopposed for the Democratic nomination for Virginia governor Tuesday.

In the past, however, his Democratic opponents have gone after him for many of the same weaknesses as a candidate.

America Rising has released a new ad, using the words of McAuliffe’s former political opponents against him.

The ad shows a clip from Creigh Deeds, the Democratic gubernatorial nominee who lost to Bob McDonnell, warning Virginians that McAuliffe “stands with Donald Trump and Wall Street executives” and received more than 80 percent of his campaign contributions from out-of-state.

In 2009, Brian Moran — now McAuliffe’s campaign co-chairman — blasted him for falsely claiming to create 100,000 jobs.

“That’s just not true, Terry. A hundred thousand jobs is more than Bill Gates and Microsoft,” Moran said.
