South Korean automaker Hyundai has revealed the i20 WRC race car that will be competing in next year's World Rally Championship. The new vehicle will make its debut during the Monte Carlo Rally next month under the Hyundai Shell World Rally Team name. The team's lead driver will be Thierry Neuville, who will be joined by either Dani Sordo or Chris Atkinson at several events during the season. The team's second driver will be Juho Hanninen. Hyundai's says its main objective for the 2014 WRC season is for both cars to finish each rally event, with the goal of "accumulating vital knowledge and data in order to strengthen its foundations for subsequent years.
