Adams Morgan's most famous contrarian journalist, Andrew Sullivan, of Newsweek/the Daily Beast, flew the coop two weeks ago for New York, as reported by the Washington City Paper, and so far it's been calamitous: slow Internet, errant faucets and "a giant sucking sound as the city effectively robs you of all your pennies at every juncture."

"Please tell me it gets better," Sullivan wrote in a blog post on Wednesday.

Andrew, Adams Morgan will forgive you for leaving. Just come home.
