A suburban Detroit school district has canceled classes after reporting school bus vandalism.
The West Bloomfield School District said in a posting on its website that schools were closed Monday because of "bus mechanical difficulties."
WWJ-AM reports the vandalism happened at a bus yard in nearby Orchard Lake. The district serves part of Oakland County.
Police were investigating.
