Striking teachers in a suburban Philadelphia school district are heading back to work.
Classes are resuming Friday in the Neshaminy School District. Teachers there have been on strike since Jan. 9.
Neshaminy's teachers have been working without a contract ? or raises ? for four years.
District officials say they can't afford even half of the teachers' demands without raising taxes, spending reserve funds and cutting student programs.
Negotiations are expected to restart next week.
