The DC Public Library's fine forgiveness program is coming to an end.
Sunday is the last day for the "Check It In" amnesty program, which began in December. The program encourages library patrons to turn in lost, overdue or damaged library materials including books and CDs. The library will forgive all fines and fees.
The District of Columbia has 24 public library branches throughout the city.
