WASHINGTON (AP) — The Newseum in Washington is opening a new exhibit of photographs and video taken by the journalists that cover the White House.

The new exhibit that opened Friday features images that won awards from the White House News Photographers Association. The exhibit, called "The Eyes of History 2012," highlights more than 70 images of the people and events that shaped the world in 2011. The exhibit also includes video interviews with the winning photographers.

The exhibit will be on display through March 29, 2013.
