MILTON, N.H. (AP) — The New Hampshire Farm Bureau and New Hampshire Farm Museum are teaming up to present a seminar for educators on the state's agricultural history.

State officials say everything from the stone walls scattered across the Granite State to the absence of wolves relate to the state's agricultural past.

Educators who sign up for the seminar — to be held Thursday from 4-6:30 p.m. at the New Hampshire Farm Museum in Milton — will meet some Merino sheep and learn simple methods for spinning wool into yarn.

The goal of the seminar is to make history come alive for students and integrate math and science into lessons on the state's farming economy.
