OK, so maybe Nicki Minaj didn't endorse the Romney/Ryan ticket after all. The entertainer created a firestorm after appearing to endorse presidential candidate Mitt Romney last week on a Lil Wayne track. Heated debate ensued over whether she was serious reached a boil Monday when President Obama was asked about it on an interview with an Orlando radio station.

"I'm not sure that's actually what happened," Obama said of Minaj's apparent line of support for Romney. ("I'm a Republican voting for Mitt Romney/You lazy b------s is f---ing up the economy.") "I think she had a song on there, a little rap that said that, but she likes to play different characters. So I don't know what's going on there."

Minaj took to Twitter to respond. "Ha! Thank you for understanding my creative humor & sarcasm Mr. President, the smart ones always do," she wrote. She added, "Now I can tell my grandchildren that the 1st black president of the United States took the time to address a Nicki Minaj question."
