NATCHITOCHES, La. (AP) — Northwestern State University's engineering technology program has received $10,000 through the Weyerhaeuser Giving Fund Grant program.

The money will be used to help attract students to university's engineering technology program.

Phil Brown, a Northwestern State associate professor, said the goal is to reach out to high school counselors and students to make them aware of career opportunities in manufacturing through the university's engineering technology programs.
