On NPR this morning, reporter Dina Temple-Raston explained that the investigators of the Boston Marathon bombings were “leaning” toward the idea that the attack was a result of “anti-government” and “right-wing” individuals.

“The thinking, as we’ve been reporting, is that this is a domestic, extremist attack,” explained Temple-Raston. “And officials are leaning that way, largely because of the timing of the attack.”

Temple-Raston explained that the month of April was “a big month for anti-government and right wing individuals,” citing Hitler’s birthday, the Columbine school shooting, the Oklahoma City bombing and the assault on the Branch Davidian compound in Waco.
